Most motion simulation platforms in the consumer market can’t support the weight of triple monitor setups, but when the monitors aren’t moving with the platform, you end up feeling like you’re floating around inside the car.
At worst, this leads to motion sickness for some people, but at best it takes away from the immersion that would otherwise be possible.
So today we are going to experiment with a TrackIR5 system to see if we can make our own DIY Motion Tracking system which compensates for the movement of the platform and provides a more immersive sim racing experience!
