Project MX5 – How to Fix Heater Return O-Ring Coolant Leak & Replacing Coolant

The Mazda MX5 has a very common coolant leak which occurs when the o-ring that seals the linkage between the back of the water pump and the heater return hard-line breaks down with age or is pinched.

In this video I show you how to replace this o-ring, as well as how to remove the exhaust heat shield, and drain/replace coolant, including bleeding/burping the cooling system.
