With the recent announcement that Assetto Corsa Competizione will only support 30 Frames Per Second, many PC players have instantly dismissed it as being not enough to provide a good experience, while many console players insist that 30 FPS games play just fine.
There’s no argument that in most cases, 30FPS is almost unplayable by today’s standards on a PC, so why is it that lower frame rates seem smoother on consoles than PCs?
