Fanatec’s ClubSport Universal Hub has been around for quite now, and while it serves its purpose well, it’s not exactly the prettiest thing to look at unless hidden behind a larger wheel and can be quite clumsy to work with.
Today, Fanatec introduced their new CSL Universal Hub which features a clever sliding design allowing it to be used with a wide variety of wheels with either 50 or 70mm stud patterns, and with a significantly lower price tag than the ClubSport Universal Hub, so let’s take a closer look!

Easy width adjustment.
An innovative slider mechanism allows effortless positioning of the button islands and shifter paddles to suit different wheel sizes. Stepless slider for precise adjustment.
Attach any rim you want.
Threaded holes for 3 x 50 mm or 6 x 70 mm patterns support all Fanatec wheel rims and many 3rd party rims (e.g. MOMO, SPARCO, OMP).

Optimised button layout for muscle memory. Includes a 7-way FunkySwitch™, toggle switches, rocker switch, and snap-dome shifter paddles.
Tool-free Quick Release.
New tool-free Simplified Quick Release Adapter — no clamping bolt needed. Optional upgrade to ClubSport QR unlocks High Torque Mode on Podium bases.
