To understand how it all works, we discuss the principle of “Clamping Force” and how it works to transfer the weight of the car through the hub and to the tyre.

Summary:

Hubcentric rings are vitally important when fitting aftermarket hubcentric wheels to your car. but their only function is to correctly align the wheels to the hubs. they DO NOT carry the weight of the car in any way.

There are multiple types of lug nuts available, choosing the right type is extremely important, especially when using lugcentric wheels. Check with your wheel manufacturer to find out the appropriate type for your specific needs.
