What if you could make the ambient lighting cast on your sim rig and your body match what it should look like in real life?
Real-time Adaptive Ambient Lighting has been something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time but didn’t think was possible.
But a recent video from Sim GP tipped us off to a relatively easy way this can be set up for surprisingly low cost using the Philips Hue system.
Regardless of how your monitors are connected, you can use the Hue Sync Desktop app to control your lights with no need to intercept the video signal from your PC to your monitor.
This brings a whole new level of immersion to the sim racing experience.
So let’s see how it works!
