The Fanatec Podium Steering Wheel Monte Carlo is no replica. It is the exact wheel used by Sebastien Loeb to win the 2022 Monte Carlo Rally. This is a modular system that in the Monte Carlo bundle comes with a genuine Sparco R383 Rim, Podium Button Module Rally, Podium Hub and QR2 Pro Wheel-Side Quick Release. As the Podium Button Module Rally can be purchased individually, this opens up a huge range of options to suit different driving styles on pretty much any rim with a 6 X 70mm bolt pattern.
We took a close look at Podium Button Module Rally with the Monte Carlo bundle as well as the Rally Sweden bundle which uses the Podium Button Module Rally on a replica Sparco rim made by Fanatec and the ClubSport Universal Hub.
So do you need a real WRC winning wheel in your Sim Rig? Does the cheaper bundle better suit the needs of sim racers? Or are you better off with a completely different rim for this button module?
