The R3 Wheelbase is a significant step up in strength and quality in terms of force feedback when compared to something like a Logitech G923, making it a very interesting option for those looking for their first Sim Racing setup on XBOX or PC.
If budget allows there is definitely value in jumping up to the 5.5Nm of the Moza R5 from the R3. The R5 offers a very similar experience to the Fanatec CSL DD but does not give you the option to upgrade to 8Nm with a simple “Boost Kit”. Ideal for casual gamers wanting good quality gear, but serious racers will probably want something stronger at some point.
WHEEL BASES
In my opinion the Moza R12 offers the best value within the Moza ecosystem. It provides an excellent quality force feedback with enough strength to suit most people. If you are experienced with direct drive wheel bases and know you need more than 12Nm of peak torque it’s worth checking out the R16 and R21.
