Triple Screens Vs VR – Which is Faster for Sim Racing?

One of the most heated “discussions” around the Sim Racing community has got to be VR vs Triple Screens. Which is faster? Which is most immersive? Which is easier? Which is best? There are very strong arguments for both which makes it a difficult job to decide which path to go if you are building up a new Sim rig.

At Boosted Media, we have a somewhat over the top Triple 4k 65″ system, which some people might consider to be a dream build. While it definitely brings fantastic immersion, and looks great through a GoPro, there are some pretty major limitations just like you would have in a more typical, smaller triple screen setup.

So we did some back to back testing and analysis to see which setup lead to better lap times. I’ll also take you through some of the other major considerations to help you decide if VR or Triples will be right for you!
