Headlight Modification – Part 1 – How to Bake Open Headlights

In this video I show you how to bake open headlights to paint and modify the internals, install angel eyes, demon eyes, etc.

The video is done on a set of Mazda MX5 NB Series 2 Headlights, but the principles and most of the technoque are the same for most headlights.

Pleae ensure your oven is clean with no oil residue before doing this. I take no responsibility if you damage yourself, your car or your oven doing this.

Tools required:
*An clean oven big enough to fit one of the headlights and with accurate temperature control.
*A wide flat blade screwdriver or tyre lever.
*A small screwdriver to undo any clips.
*A Philips Head screwdriver (maybe)
*Rubber Gloves
*A baking tray
