As you all know by now, I’m a big fan on FANATEC products. The quality blew me away from the moment I opened the first box (as you would have seen in my unboxing videos) and while I’m not sponsored by them in any way, I’m more than happy to recommend their products.
I absolutely love my Formula Carbon wheel, but the one thing that’s really missing is additional rotary encoders and Multi Position Switches to allow you to easily switch Engine Modes, ERS Deployment, Brake Bias and Differential Trim on the fly. Until now I’ve been using a home made (guide here) Button Box to get around this. But it still means taking one hand off the wheel to make adjustments.
The V2 Formula wheel fixes this, and then some!
Not only does the new wheel come with a new Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) replacing the 3x7segment display found in the V1, it also now features a multitude of Rotary Encoders and 12-way Multi Position Switches which means no more taking your hands off the wheel!
It’s also compatible with the recently announced Podium Spec Magnetic Shifter and Clutch system which is due to start shipping in April next year.
The Fanatec V2 Formula Steering Wheel is available for Pre-Order NOW, and will begin shipping from the 28th of February – 2018
