A few weeks ago now I put together an unboxing and initial impressions video for the newly released FANATEC Formula V2 wheel. Overall I was very happy with the wheel, but I highlighted that I would have liked the thumb wheels to have a little more tactile feedback.
I mentioned in the video that I would probably end up getting sued to it, but felt like it was important to be completely open and honest in my initial impressions video.
Since then I’ve spent around 20 hours using the wheel, so in this video, I talk about my revised impressions having now gotten used to the wheel.
I’ll also walk you through all my button mappings for F1 2018, and show you exactly what it looks like when I’m using the wheel to change settings in F1 2018.
