I’ll say straight up, results are going to vary on this one. More detailed and modern graphics require more computing power and there’s no way around that. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that Assetto Corsa Competizione is “poorly optimized”, and indeed it was prior to the 1.2 patch. But in my opinion, the bottom line is Assetto Corsa Competizione pushes the limits of current technology and it’s never going to run as well on lower-end hardware as the titles we’re used to playing like iRacing, AC, rFactor 2, Raceroom, Automobilista, etc.
So with that “expectation management disclaimer” out of the way in today’s video, I’m going to show you how to get the best possible performance out of the hardware you have.
