Intel 8700K vs. 8086K – Intel i7 8086K Special Edition Released

Intel have just released their brand new 40th Anniversary Special Edition 8086K processor, celebrating 40 years since the release of their original 8086 processor. The 8086K comes with a whopping 5.0GHz Turbo Clock speed out of the box, the first time Intel have released a chip with a clock speed of 5.0GHz or more.

In this quick video I take a look at the specs and compare it to the previous flagship, the 8700K to determine if it’s worth the upgrade both as an off the shelf usage chip, and for overclockers.
