You guys have been telling me I need to get a VR headset for almost a year now, and it’s finally happened!
I’ve been tossing up between a Valve Index and HP Reverb for many months now, but with the difficulties in sourcing an Index here in Australia, plus monstrous price tag once you factor in shipping and import duties, I decided to go with the Reverb.
SO in today’s video we unbox the HP Reverb together, get it all plugged in and run through the initial setup to give you an idea of what the process is like for a total n00b. Then we go for a drive around in the Porsche 911 GT3 at Laguna Seca and Skip Barber at Summit Point Raceway in iRacing to see how it goes.
Finally I’ll summarise with a quick review of my initial impressions.
If you find my content helpful and entertaining and you’re keen to pick up an HP Reverb, it’d be a massive help to me if you’d consider using the following Amazon affiliate link to purchase. It doesn’t cost you anything extra and a small percentage of the profit comes back to me to help keep the videos coming! Thank you!
